This policy explains how Clearis S.A. handles the personal data you submit through our website contact form. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese data protection law.
1 Who we are
The data controller is Clearis S.A., Av. da República 6, 1º Esq., 1050-191 Lisboa, Portugal. You can reach us at legal@clearis.pt.
2 What we collect
Through our contact form, we collect the personal data you actively submit:
- Full name and work email address
- Job function and company name
- Industry and company size
- Product interest (Provizo, Solvro, or both)
- Any message or comments you choose to include
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, how this website is used. GA4 sets analytics cookies and processes limited technical data — such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate (city-level) location. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.
3 How we use it
We use your data solely to respond to your enquiry — to understand your context, route your message to the right person, and arrange a conversation if appropriate. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4 Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, our interest in responding to business enquiries from prospective clients. Where a commercial relationship develops, processing continues under contractual necessity (Article 6(1)(b)).
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are set only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules). You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5 Retention
We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months from the date of submission. If a commercial relationship develops, standard business retention periods apply. Data is securely deleted at the end of the applicable period.
6 Sharing your data
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. We may use trusted service providers to deliver and store form submissions (such as our email delivery provider), bound by contract to process data only on our instructions. We will disclose data to authorities only if required by law.
7 Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at legal@clearis.pt — we will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority: Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — cnpd.pt.
8 Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access or disclosure. Data submitted via our contact form is transmitted over encrypted connections.
9 Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
